The gas analyzer is designed for automatic, continuous measurement of the concentration of explosive hydrocarbon gases or carbon dioxide in the surrounding atmosphere. The instrument is calibrated for explosive gases with methane, propane or hexane. Designed for permanent installation.

Field of application

Explosive zones of premises and near external technological installations, in which the formation of explosive mixtures of gases and vapors with air is possible, according to GOST R IEC 60079-14-2008 and explosion protection marking 1Exd [ib] IIB T4 Gb X.

Features of the gas analyzer

Consists of a transmitter and a gas optical converter (GGO).
PGO performs all metrological operations to determine the concentration of the test gas, including the formation of a digital signal and an output analog signal of the current loop, containing information about the measured concentration. PGOs have built-in flash memory with calibration coefficients, which are automatically read when connected to a transmitter by a microprocessor, which eliminates the need for individual calibration (calibration) of converters with a transmitter.

The transmitter provides information about the measured concentration value via the digital serial interface RS-485 MODBUS® , as well as the display of the concentration of the analyzed gas on the built-in four-character seven-segment display and light indication (using indicator LEDs) of the supply voltage presence, measurement range exceeding and self-diagnosis results, and also switching the built-in relays.

The gas analyzer is also equipped with a HART-communicator connector for device control.
