Pneumatic device for automatic movement of the ignition lance to the ignition position and its subsequent
withdrawal from the combustion zone.
For reliable ignition with a high-energy electric igniter, it is necessary that the electrical discharges generated at the end of the ignition lance are in direct contact with the gas-air mixture. However, the temperature in the optimal ignition zone during burner operation is usually extremely high and can damage the ignition lance tip.
The pneumatic feeder is designed to move the ignition lance to the ignition position and then return it to the position in which the ignition tip is outside the hot zone.
